Delicate white blossom followed by abundant crops of red fruit.
Malus ‘Gorgeous’ is a small tree of dense, rounded habit. In spring, pink buds open to single, white flowers. Long, glossy, crimson-red fruits last well into the winter.
Position:Â Suitable for a wide range of soil types except waterlogged sites, although they are tolerant of shade they do prefer full sun.
Pruning: Thin some of the branches to encourage new growth up to a quarter of the branches can removed each year. It is advisable to carry this out during the summer as it will cut down on any risk of disease entering the pruning cuts.
