Malus brevipes ‘Wedding Bouquet’ is a lovely and charming species with long tapered dark green healthy leaves, single shell-shaped, ivory white flowers and profuse clusters of small transluscent dark red fruits persistent into December.
Position:Â Suitable for a wide range of soil types except waterlogged sites, although they are tolerant of shade they do prefer full sun.
Pruning: Thin some of the branches to encourage new growth up to a quarter of the branches can removed each year. It is advisable to carry this out during the summer as it will cut down on any risk of disease entering the pruning cuts.
