Abelia mosanensis is a reliable variety of Abelia, hardier than most other varieties. It produces reddish clusters of buds opening to pinky-white flowers in April and May accompanied by a beautiful scent. A strong upright grower with green leaves and autumn tints. Thrives in full sun well drained soils and preferably a sheltered position.

Position: Requires a warm and sheltered position from prevailing winds or plant against a warm wall, in free draining soils.

Pruning: May need hard pruning every 3-4 years.
