Abelia floribunda is a rare species of Abelia, producing a vigorous medium sized shrub. Abundant brilliant cherry red tubular flowers up to 5cm long are produced in June. Best planted in a sheltered position or against a warm wall in well-drained soil.

Position: Requires a warm and sheltered position from prevailing winds or plant against a warm wall, in free draining soils.

Pruning: May need hard pruning every 3-4 years.
