Ferns are one of the most enchanting groups of plants, adding form, texture and foliage colour wherever they are planted and never failing to captivate the gardener as their new fronds unfurl in Spring.

They are ideal for planting under deciduous trees and shrubs as well as an excellent subject for poolside planting.

Ferns are amazingly tolerant but are generally happiest in partial or dappled shade on any cool, leafy, free-draining soil.
