Overview

An evergreen hardy fern forming a compact clump of broad fronds which are often orange-coppery-pink when young fronds which deepen to green through the season.

Ferns are amazingly tolerant but are generally happiest in partial or dappled shade on any cool, leafy, free-draining soil.

They will add colour, form and texture as well as movement in the garden and are ideal subjects for planting under deciduous trees and shrubs.

Ferns also associate well with herbaceous perennials in the mixed border and add bold foliage interest to a poolside setting.
