Overview

A superb deciduous winter flowering shrub with fragrant, large sulphur yellow, spider like flowers on leafless arching stems from December to March. Mid green leaves turn yellow in autumn.

Position: Requires a cool, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in partial shade.

Pruning: No regular pruning necessary. Any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots. Shoots that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out late winter or early spring.
