Overview
A lovely deciduous winter flowering shrub. Large spider like flowers of orange tinged red, but appearing orange from a distance. Flowering between December and March.
Position: Requires a cool, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in partial shade.
Pruning:Â No regular pruning necessary. Any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots. Shoots that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out late winter or early spring.
