Overview

A lovely upright witch hazel, well-suited to the small garden, of moderate vigour bearing masses of spidery flowers in mid-winter. Slightly crimped petals of a bright yellowish orange with a purple tinged calyx overall pale orange, with a subtle scent.

Position: Requires a cool, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in partial shade.

Pruning: No regular pruning necessary. Any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots. Shoots that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out late winter or early spring.
