Overview

An outstanding deciduous winter flowering shrub. Golden orange flowers suffused with red at the base, looking overall orange. In flower between December and March. Good red and orange autumn foliage.

Position: Requires a cool, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in partial shade.

Pruning: No regular pruning necessary. Any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots. Shoots that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out late winter or early spring.
