Overview
An excellent named selection of the Japanese witch hazel; it produces a superb display of long sulphur yellow spidery petals with maroon bases in winter. Good autumn leaf colour, usually buttery yellow. This makes a large shrub with maturity, wider than it is high, so allow room for it to develop.
Position: Requires a cool, moist but well drained neutral to acid soil in partial shade.
Pruning:Â No regular pruning necessary. Any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots. Shoots that are growing in unwanted directions can also be pruned out late winter or early spring.
