A lacecap with a simple ring of ray florets on a plant with strong upright stems on a medium sized plant. Sensitive to PH and mineral changes in the soil, so colours will vary from Pink to violet.

Position: They perform best when given a shady, cool moist root run and a sheltered aspect. For the best vivid violet-blue blooms plant in acid soil and encorporate hydrangea colourant.

Maintenance: Lacecap hydrangeas require little pruning, simply thin out old stems and remove the dead flowers to a pair of plump green buds in late spring.
