A white lacecap to ‘Libelle’ but of smaller stature. White sterile florets surround pink or blue-mauve fertile flowers in the centre of the lacecaps. Foliage turns to shades of red in autumn.

Position: They perform best when given a shady, cool moist root run and a sheltered aspect. For the best clear blue blooms plant in acid soil and encorporate hydrangea colourant.

Maintenance: Lacecap hydrangeas require little pruning, simply thin out old stems and remove the dead flowers to a pair of plump green buds in late spring.
