Thuja plicata ‘Aurea’, the yellow foliage form of Thuja plicata (Western red cedar), creates a pyramid of rich, old gold-bronze in autumn and winter, returning to yellow in summer. Growth is quite rapid and makes an excellent strong dense hedge or specimen tree. Height 4m x Spread 1.5m (12ft x 5ft) approx. in 10 years. Very tolerant of dry soils and situations. Generally trouble free.
