Overview
A compact, dome-shaped evergreen shrub, growing wider than it is high, and an excellent all-year-round subject for a small garden. It produces dense clusters of green flower buds in late summer and these open to fragrant, creamy-white flowers in April and May, attracting bees from far and wide. This is a male clone so is useful for pollinating female skimmias nearby.
Position: Thrives in partial shade and its best leaf colour is produced in a cool shady position.
Pruning: is not necessary but if you wish to prune do it in late spring after flowering.
