A delightful small and compact semi – evergreen shrub with deep green glossy, leathery foliage, topped in late April or early May by a profusion of large round snowball-like flowers, up to 3ins across, of purest white, opening from creamy buds tinged pink. This Viburnum has only slight fragrance but compensates with its extraordinary display of flowers. Ordinary garden soil in a fairly warm sunny position.
