Overview
A collection of 3 named Doubles auricula plants of our choice. Colours may include Dark reds, Greenish Yellows, Bright Yellows, Pinks, Blues and Yellowish Creams. Please note we are unable to choose specific named plants or colours as part of this collection. Flowering from mid-March to April. Suitable for both garden and cold greenhouse cultivation.
Please be aware that due to their fragile nature flower heads may be broken in transit. These plants are seed raised and may have variations between plants. If multiple collections are ordered, duplication may be inevitable.
Traditionally auriculas are grown and displayed in ‘long toms’: long narrow terracotta pots, however normal terracotta and plastic pots are also suitable. Auriculas are happy in most well-drained compost. Water your plants scarcely in autumn and winter, increasing in spring when flowers start to develop. Remove withered leaves regularly and re-pot in late spring/summer when necessary. Place a layer of gravel mulch around plants in winter to help avoid rot. Feed with simple tomato feed when flower buds appear to help promote flowering.
Collection of 6 plants of our choice-Mixed colours. Photographs are for illustration purposes only. These plants are seed raised and may all be slightly different.
Please note: although we securely package each individual plant, due to their fragile nature we cannot guarantee flower stems will not be broken during transit. This does not affect the future growth of the plant.
