Overview

A robust, deciduous, hardy fern for waterside planting or in a damp loamy soil. The stout upright stems are orange-brown. The fronds are bright green and can grow up to 2.5m. Rusty brown spores and borne at the tips of the fronds and the foliage turns an attractive reddish-brown in autumn.It will grow in shade or full sun if kept moist.
