Nyssa sylvatica is a slow-growing, broadly conical, medium to large tree.  Green, oval, glossy leaves turn brilliant shades of rich scarlet, orange and yellow in autumn.

Position: Suitable for a wide range of soil types, but for the best results and leaf colour plant on chalky soil in full sun or light shade.

Pruning: No pruning is needed.
