Moorcroft designer, Nicola Slaney makes maximum artistic advantage of the blossom which can be pale blue and pink as well as the more familiar Alpine-white. Remarkably showcased at Ashwood Nurseries, Nicola harness Moorcroft’s ‘flooding’ technique to wash pristine-white blossom and lobed leaves, with tinges of taffy-pink oxides, a complex cadmium mix, at the upper ridge of the plaque before gently tumbling the colours into pale lavender-purple shades.
