Overview
This interspecies hybrid (Helleborus niger x Helleborus foetidus) shares many fine characteristics of its parents. Many pendulous pink-flushed green flowers are borne in profusion over a long period from Winter through to Spring. Great for the woodland floor, or underplanting shrubs and trees in partially shaded borders.
Position: Very tolerant of most soils. They prefer a sunny position or a sheltered position in semi shade with a rich, moist free draining soil.
Cultural advice:Â Â Remove old faded flower stems after flowering. This is an interspecies hybrid so do not remove the old foliage until late Spring.
