Our award-winning Helleborus x hybridus Ashwood Garden Hybrids are recognised as ‘simply the best’ hellebores available in the world. They are renowned for their purity of colour, superb colour retention as well as the exquisite beauty and drama of their markings and nectaries. You can be sure of perfect flower form and shape, clean colour on the backs of the blooms as well as strong, healthy plants with short sturdy flower stems. Please note that, as our plants are raised from seed, colours and shades can vary slightly from the image depicted.

Position: Very tolerant of most soils. They prefer a sheltered position in semi shade with a rich, moist free draining soil.

Cultural advice: Remove old leaves in late December. Remove old faded flower stems after flowering, unless you require the seed, to encourage next year’s new growth.
