Overview

This stunning interspecies hybrid from Germany is prized for its spectacular display of large, forward-facing rose coloured flowers, with a huge central boss of stamens, borne on tall stems over a long period above robust evergreen foliage. An excellent subject for a patio pot. A stunning addition to the ice ‘n’Roses collection.

An interspecies hybrid (H. niger and H.orientalis) from the Heuger Gold Collection, combining the best characteristics of its parents.

Position:  These prefer a sunny position or a sheltered position in light shade with a rich, moist free draining soil.

Cultural advice:  In late Spring, remove old faded flower stems and all old foliage to encourage next year’s new growth.
