Overview
Elegant leaves, very dark green, forming a wonderful contrast to the bright green flowers. Our native ‘stinking hellebore’ is so named as the foliage gives off an odour, but only when crushed!
Position:Â Prefers a well-drained fertile soil in partial shade, sheltered from cold winds.
Cultural advice:Â Remove old faded flower stems after flowering, unless you require the seed, to encourage next year’s new growth.
Full cultural instructions are sent with every order.
