Overview

(H. niger x H. sternii ) A very beautiful hardy hybrid, forming an evergreen bushy plant with attractive, grey-green occasionally marbled foliage. The clusters of large ivory-white flowers, flushed pinkish-bronze or green, deepen with age.

Position: Very tolerant of most soils. They prefer a sunny position or a sheltered position in semi shade with a rich, moist free draining soil.

Cultural advice:  Remove old faded flower stems after flowering to encourage next year’s new growth. The flowers are sterile so produce no seed.
