A deciduous species from Italy and Croatia (formerly Helleborus multifidus ssp.bocconei) with green flowers that may either be rounded or star-shaped and are faintly scented of ribes. A garden worthy plant of good vigour.

Position: Prefers a fertile free-draining soil that has a neutral to limey pH.

Plant H. multifidus in a sunny sheltered position and allow to self seed as plants may be short lived.
