We hand pick our hellebores for flower form and shape, clean colour on the backs of the blooms as well as strong, healthy plants with short sturdy flower stems. 

  • Planting: Very tolerant of most soils. Add mycorrhizal fungi when planting to help aid root development.
  • Aspect: Plant where bright in winter and spring, but semi-shaded during summer. Requires a sheltered position away from cold winds
  • Care: Remove old leaves in late December. Remove old, faded flower stems after flowering. In Spring fertilise with calcified seaweed and blood fish and bone.
