Fagus sylvatica ‘Dawyck Purple’ is a fastigiate beech tree, similar in habit to ‘Dawyck Gold’ although a little narrower and not quite as dense.  This medium sized deciduous tree has rich purple leaves which are at their best in a sunny situation.

Position: Suitable for all locations and positions apart from waterlogged ground and coastal areas.

Pruning: No pruning is needed.
