Berberis thunbergii ‘Harlequin’ has delightful young foliage with purple leaves variegated bright pink and white, darkening towards late summer. Excellent in contrast with grey or blue foliage shrubs. Pale straw yellow flowers are produced in April against pure purple foliage.

Position: Plant in a well drained soil in sun or partial shade.

Pruning: Remove any dead or damaged branches late spring or early summer.
