Overview

Bright coppery purple foliage that is excellent in contrast with lighter colours. Pale straw yellow flowers in April on a dense shrub. Can be formed into a neat dwarf hedge. Good in the rockery or the border. Foliage displays crimson and orange tints in autumn.

Position: very tolerant of most positions, but best colour produced in full sun.

Pruning: No regular pruning required but can be trimmed to shape in autumn.
