Berberis thunbergii ‘Diabolicum’ has delightful primrose yellow young foliage gradually turning pale yellow through the summer with red autumn tints. Excellent in contrast with deep purple foliaged shrubs. Pale straw yellow flowers are produced in April. Needs a sheltered spot in dappled shade with a moist but well drained soil.
