Berberis thunbergii ‘Admiration’ has attractive bright red foliage with a golden yellow margin, intensifying in autumn.  Tightly clothing a neatly compact, rounded bush throughout the summer, it is excellent when in contrast with bright yellow or light green foliage plants. Pale straw yellow flowers are produced in April. Needs a deep moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
