A compact form of darwinii, evergreen and clothed with a profusion of golden orange flowers during April followed by blue berries in the autumn. Foliage is dark green and holly-like. Very tolerant of most soils and aspects but prefers shelter from cold winds. Suitable for creating a low evergreen hedge.
