Juglans regia, the common walnut, is a slow-growing, medium-sized tree developing a round head. When young, feather-like, aromatic foliage is bronze in colour, eventually becoming dark grey. Walnuts are produced in autumn.
Position:Â Prefers a well drained fertile soil in full sun or partial shade.
Pruning:Â No pruning is needed.
