Cotoneaster salicifolius 'Exburiensis' is semi-evergreen with an arching, spreading habit and lance-shaped bright green leaves.  White flowers  are produced in May followed by apricot-yellow fruits, becoming pink-tinged in winter.   

Position: Suitable for most soil types and conditions including chalky sites. Will tolerate some shade but prefers a sunny position.

Pruning: Thin some of the branches to encourage new growth up to a quarter of the branches can removed each year. It is advisable to carry this out during the summer as it will cut down on any risk of disease entering the pruning cuts.
