Two beautifully-painted koi carp circle this design on a shape which was new in 2015. The serenity of this aquaculture is a sight occasionally seen in the quieter parts of Singapore which is more often a busy metropolis of activity. The multi-coloured fish have roots imbued in ancient Japanese and Chinese mythology and culture, so their appearance is often a welcome symbol of luck, fortune or prosperity throughout Asia. Rachel has surrounded these gentle creatures with tiny white bubbles, floating quietly to the surface. From beneath the fish in the depths of the water, tendrils of roots gently rise to meet the pads and flowers of soft pink water lilies.
