Masses of creamy white florets produced in panicles from mid summer to autumn, turning pink as they age

Position: Tolerant of most soils and aspects but thrives in a moist soil in partial or dappled shade. Will also grow happily in full sun and colder areas where other types of hydrangeas do not thrive, although avoid windy sites.

Maintenance: This woody hydrangea flowers on new wood and therefore is best hard pruned in spring to achieve maximum sized blooms. Alternatively, leave unpruned to form a small naturally multi-stemmed tree hydrangea with smaller blooms.
