Majestic flowering climbers, with fantastic pea-like flowers in hanging sprays 10-15cm long. Their highly scented flowers open to pale lilac from rich violet buds are followed by bean-like green seed pods.
Majestic flowering climbers, with fantastic pea-like, fragrant double lilac flowers, borne in usually pendent racemes in spring and summer, followed by bean-like green seed pods. Ideal to train against a wall, into a tree, or over an arch or pergola. The stems twine anti-clockwise around the support. Fully hardy. Buds can be damaged by late frosts. Grow in fertile, moist soil in full sun or partial shade.
