Overview
A strong growing clone of compact habit, with flower buds opening red, passing to pink and strongly fragrant, in terminal rounded clusters during April and May. The young foliage has a distinctive purple tinge.
Position: Plant in full sun or partial shade but performing best in a sunny position and with space to develop into a specimen shrub. Tolerant of most soil types but happiest on a humus-rich free-draining soil.
Pruning: Need little or no pruning, light pruning or the removal of dead or damage growth can be carried out in mid spring.
