Overview
A beautiful viburnum of compact habit with red flower buds, opening pale pink and strongly fragrant , borne in terminal rounded clusters during April and May. The young foliage has a distinctive purple tinge. A slow-growing clone of Viburnum carlesii: a highly desirable variety which is rarely offered.
Position: Plant in full sun or partial shade, but performs best in a sunny position with space to develop into a specimen shrub. Tolerant of most soil types but happiest in a free-draining humus-rich soil
Pruning: Need little or no pruning, light pruning or the removal of dead or damage growth can be carried out in mid spring.
