Verbena officinalis var. grandiflora ‘Bampton’ is a great favourite at Ashwood. Masses of small pink flowers are produced throughout Summer, a real magnet for bees and butterflies, with the added bonus of attractive purple-bronze leaves.It is a neat and reliably hardy verbena useful for the front of a border or edging a pathway.
It is essential to give this lovely verbena a hot sunny situation on a free-draining soil that doesn’t get too wet in winter.
