Overview
A lovely hybrid, with dense panicles of double lilac sweetly scented flowers opening from purple buds in April. After transplanting it may take two or three years before full flower size is achieved.
Position: Tolerant of most soils and positions, but best in a good loam in a sunny position.
Pruning: No routine pruning necessary although any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots can be removed in late summer or after flowering.
