Overview
A charming medium-sized deciduous shrub with a profusion of small panicles of mauve flowers, purple in bud and deliciously fragrant, produced in May.
Position: Tolerant of most soils and positions, but best in a good loam in a sunny position.
Pruning: No routine pruning necessary although any diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots should be removed immediately after flowering.
