Overview

An unusually coloured spiraea with foliage that first appears dark plum coloured, fading to dark green. Cerise flowers appear in abundance in May to June. Requires an open sunny position in any well drained reasonable soil.

Position: Prefers a open sunny position and a well drained fertile soil although is tolerant of most sites and positions.

Pruning: Prune hard back in March.
