Overview
A dense dome shaped shrub with deep evergreen leathery foliage. Red buds in winter opening white in the early spring. Followed by large clusters of bright glossy red berries in the autumn when planted with a male variety. Best in moist but well drained acid soil, partial shaded position. FEMALE variety.
Position: Thrives in partial or full shade but best leaf colour in a cool shady position.
Pruning: is not necessary but you may need to prune any damaged or diseased branches from time to time in late spring.
