Overview

A dense dome shaped shrub with deep green, leathery, evergreen foliage, an excellent shrub for all the year round interest in the garden. Red buds are carried throughout the winter and open to white tinged pink in spring.This is a Male clone, useful for pollinating female skimmias nearby.

Position: Thrives in partial shade and best leaf colour is obtained in a cool shady position.

Pruning: is not necessary but if you wish to give it a light prune do so in late Spring after flowering.
