A versatile native perennial that is found in woodland clearings making it perfect for naturalising in shaded areas. Suitable for growing in containers or borders. Flowers are various shades of pink to red produced until late in the year, especially if dead-headed. Spreads by seed if male and female plants are present.
A versatile native perennial that is found in woodland clearings making it perfect for naturalising in shaded areas. Suitable for growing in containers or borders. Flowers are various shades of pink to red produced until late in the year, especially if dead-headed. Spreads by seed if male and female plants are present.
All wildflowers are grown from seed on site. Seed is collected from the Wildlife Meadow here at Ashwood Nurseries when possible or from British suppliers.
Wildflowers are best planted in the spring or autumn when possible but can be planted in the summer if water can be provided.
