Overview
A compact, clump forming, semi-evergreen perennial with grey-green foliage and lilac-blue flowers throughout summer. Loved by bees and butterflies.
Highly attractive to butterflies and bees with large lilac coloured flowers produced in abundance in mid to late summer. A shorter plant than Field Scabious and less hairy. Great for meadows or in the garden.
All wildflowers are grown from seed on site. Seed is collected from the Wildlife Meadow here at Ashwood Nurseries when possible or from British suppliers.
Wildflowers are best planted in the spring or autumn when possible but can be planted in the summer if water can be provided.
