Overview

Commonly known as the Japanese pink pussy willow, very hardy deciduous shrub with glaucous green leaves silvery underneath. Candyfloss pompom pink catkins in winter. Gracious in habit but can be pruned for flower arrangements. Tolerant of most soils including wet sites. Can be pruned hard back in late spring if necessary.
