A medium to large sized deciduous shrub. Dark red flowers appear on pendulous flowering stems in April.
Position: Ordinary garden soil in any reasonable light position.
Pruning: Prune out two year old wood after flowering. Very hardy and tolerant so long as the soil is reasonably moist.Â
